Due to the labor-intensive nature of custom web strategy, time commitment, and creative development required for every project, our policy is as follows:
Once any payment has been processed—including retainers, service fees, project-based payments, or consultation charges—it is non-refundable under all circumstances.
This policy is necessary because:
We commit resources and allocate expert time immediately upon project commencement.
Your payment directly supports the operational expenses necessary to fulfill your contract.
A fixed 10% portion of your payment is immediately dedicated to the Calicops Cat Fund.
Advance payments and retainers secure your project slot and are applied toward the agreed-upon scope of services. These payments are not refundable, even if the client decides to withdraw, pause, or cancel the project mid-way.
Any third-party costs, such as hosting fees, domain registration renewals, premium theme licenses, or paid plugin subscriptions, are the client’s sole responsibility and are non-refundable by Calicops.
Clients may discontinue services at any time with written notice, as outlined in their service agreement. However, no refunds will be issued for work already performed, time reserved, or resources committed prior to the cancellation notice.
We encourage open and honest communication. If you have any concerns regarding the services provided, please contact us immediately so we can work toward a resolution based on the project scope defined in your SOW. However, this open communication process does not supersede our strict no-refund policy.
